Susan Greenwood joined Hatch Brenner in 1999, and specialises in commercial property work. Originally from Halifax, Susan studied for an English Literature degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, and subsequently taught in Sweden and Italy. She decided to pursue a legal path and undertook conversion and qualifying courses at Chester College of Law from 1976-77. She then completed her training as a solicitor during a three-year spell at the Great Yarmouth offices of Mears Hobbs & Durrant.
In 1982 Susan moved to London, becoming a partner at a fleet street firm in 1985. Susan has considerable experience of a broad spectrum of commercial property transactions with particular expertise in freeholdand leasehold acquisitions and disposals and advising business occupiers.
Susan has two grown-up children, and her interests include walking in her native Yorkshire. She has studied a variety of English Literature-based courses at the University of East Anglia, and is a member of Haddiscoe parochial church council.
