Rosemary Escott is head of the civil litigation department, and is a personal injury specialist. She has vast experience in fatal and serious injury claims arising out of road traffic accidents, accidents at work, clinical negligence, and sexual abuse. She has recently settled a catastrophic multimillion pound clinical negligence brain injury case.

Rosemary was educated at Tudor Grange Grammar School, in Solihull. She completed a BA Honours degree at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, in 1984, and took her solicitors finals examinations the following year. On qualifying in 1987, she became a member of the specialist personal injury team at Daynes Hill & Perks (now Eversheds). Rosemary joined Hatch Brenner as head of the personal injury department in 1992, and became a partner in the firm in 1995.

Hatch Brenner are on the Headway The Brain Injury Association Personal Injury Solicitors List. Rosemary has been a member of the Law Society’s specialist personal injury panel since 1995. She is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA). In addition, she was Chairwoman of the Norfolk & Norwich Medico-Legal Society from 1998-2005, and is currently the Hon. Secretary of the Society.
