John Cushing has joined Norwich law firm Hatch Brenner in the role of senior litigation executive.
Mr Cushing has previously worked for three local firms – he joins Hatch Brenner from Leathes Prior - and has more than 30 years’ civil litigation experience specialising in landlord and tenant claims, contract disputes, and debt collection.
He is well-placed to assess landlord and tenant claims from both perspectives, having acted for either side in a vast number of possession actions, rent collection matters and damages claims.
Mr Cushing also deals with other property-related matters including boundary and neighbour disputes, building disputes, and professional negligence claims. He is highly experienced in debt collection, and regularly appears before the district judges in the local county courts.
Born in Weston Longville, Mr Cushing still lives in Norfolk with his wife, Diane. The couple have two grown-up children. Mr Cushing’s main interest outside work is photography, and he is chairman of Buxton Photographic Club.
