Ian Fisher joined Hatch Brenner in 2003, and is head of the criminal law department. Born and educated in Norwich, he attended Sussex University and then the University of East Anglia, where he obtained a law degree. After completing his Law Society Finals in Birmingham he did his articles in Beccles and Great Yarmouth before qualifying in 1988. Ian then spent a year undertaking general litigation with a Great Yarmouth firm, and subsequently joined Norwich firm Overburys as a solicitor in the criminal department. He became a partner, and head of department, and obtained his Higher Rights (criminal) qualification in 2002. The following year he joined Hatch Brenner along with the entire Overburys crime team.
Ian’s leisure interests include music, reading, swimming, horse racing, and spending time with his three children.
