OLD MAKES WAY FOR THE NEW
During the past few days the charming range of buildings, Chantry Court, Theatre Street, has disappeared forever.
It has become an open space to be used temporarily as a car park to replace that lost behind the City Hall while the underground Civil Defence premises and police and ambulance garages are built.
Later the area is scheduled to be part of an enlarged civic centre of Norwich.
